DIRECTOR PAUL VERHOEVEN’S NEW FILM ‘TRICKED’ TO LAUNCH AT 2012 CANNES FILM FESTIVAL MARKET

Amsterdam / Cannes – Hollywood film Director Paul Verhoeven’s latest film titled ‘Tricked’ will be launched at the 2012 Cannes Film Festival Market on May 16th 2012. This marks Verhoeven’s return to the Cannes Film Market since ‘Black Book’ in 2006.

The drama, taglined: ‘Lies always backfire’, focuses on real estate tycoon and womaniser Remco (Peter Blok – Black Book). During his birthday party thrown by his wife, his successful lifestyle takes a turn for the worse. His business partners, are scheming behind his back to sell him out. And to make matters worse, both his current mistress and his former office-fling, show up uninvited with one of them pregnant. All is not what it seems in this tale of passion, betrayal and disintegrating relationships. It is a story only Paul Verhoeven can tell.

This new film represents the culmination of a 39-week roller coaster multiplatform project that has taken his native Netherlands by storm. In this era of social media, the director let himself be led by the general public, whose contributions (which included the screenplay) determined exactly how the film would eventually turn out.

FCCE / ‘Tricked’ will attend, and presell the title with preview trailer and script, at the upcoming Cannes Film Festival content market taking place May 16-25 2012 and will be located at stand 109 – located at the Dutch Pavilion in the International Village.

FCCE AND HOLLYWOOD DIRECTOR PAUL VERHOEVEN’S ‘ENTERTAINMENT EXPERIENCE’ STRIKES DEAL WITH SONY AND DRAWS RECORD NUMBER OF PARTICIPANTS

Amsterdam –  Following the international launch of Dutch media company FCCE’s world-first multimedia project the ‘Entertainment Experience’ at MIPCOM 2011, the format has now been signed for internationally and is drawing record numbers in The Netherlands where the project is midway.
FCCE signed a deal with Sony to roll-out the ‘Entertainment Experience’ format in the entire Mid-East covering 21 countries through Sony Pictures Television Arabia.

Hollywood film Director and Dutchman Paul Verhoeven is currently working on the ‘Entertainment Experience’ in The Netherlands, where the project is drawing a record number of participants and viewers.

Halfway down the project some facts:

• 2,1 million website page views
• 400.000 unique visitors to the website
• 26 thousand registered participants producing their movie
• Over 9 thousand screenplays, scores, auditions and videos have been sent in
• Paul Verhoeven’s film has been viewed over 150 thousand times before even finished
• Youngest director participating: 14 years old
• 136 daily TV show episodes – now halfway: total of 7,4 million viewers since its start
• 13 prime time TV episodes to air
• Over 75% brand recognition of project with Dutch population through press exposure
• 2 movies being produced – one user-generated and one produced by Paul Verhoeven
• Ending in a spectacular Red carpet Premiere

The ‘Entertainment Experience’ is the world’s first multi platform format creating a user generated movie.
It is a 39 week cross media concept that combines a TV series, social media and undiscovered talent in the best possible way, ending with two movies, a user generated and a user inspired Director’s cut of the movie.
It starts with a partially written script outlining the first three minutes of the movie.
From there the audience takes over in all disciplines: script writing, acting, producing, music score, special effects, game development, and so on.
They are being followed by cameras themselves for the TV part of the format, while being guided by an established director who will make the final cut of the movie.

FCCE is currently also in talks with several international directors, including major names from the UK and US, for a worldwide rollout of the ‘Entertainment Experience’.

FCCE TO LAUNCH NEW SERIES AT MIPTV CHRONICLING THE TRAVELS OF A WORLD RENOWNED SPIRITUAL HEALER

Amsterdam/Cannes – Dutch media company FCCE is launching a breakthrough documentary series in HD called Voyage of Spiritual Discoveries at this year’s MIPTV content market held in Cannes, France.

The eight part television series follows world renowned spiritual healer Omata Tutini, as she undertakes a journey of mystical discovery around the world. Uncovering some of the most beautiful and spiritual places on earth – in stunning HD.

FCCE LAUNCES NEW SHOWS AT DISCOP ISTANBUL CONTENT MARKET

FCCE will be attending the upcoming DISCOP content market taking place February 28th through March 1st 2012 in Istanbul, Turkey.

There it will launch a brand new docutainment series titled ‘Stars in Style’.
Fashion and Movie Stars go hand in hand. In this 13 part series some of the greatest fashion moments on Hollywood’s Red Carpets are highlighted as well as the best designers who make these outfits and the people who wear them.

FCCE will also officially launch its second series of ‘Spotlight On’.
Spotlight On takes the viewer beyond the red carpet and into the inner sanctum of Hollywood. Each episode focuses on an interesting aspect of the movie business, turning the Spotlight On what really happens in the words of the movie stars themselves.

The first series of ‘Spotlight On’ was a huge success and is currently broadcast in over 100 countries worldwide.
